About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) is an important member of the interdisciplinary team and delivers quality nursing care through interpersonal contact. The RN provides care and services that help patients attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The role includes assessing patient needs on an ongoing basis, revising care plans as patient conditions change, and providing clinical supervision to CNAs and LPNs.

Requirements

• Nursing diploma or an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Currently licensed or registered in the applicable state.
• Maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employment.
• CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation, and maintained as current throughout employment.
• Concentration, reasoning skills, and good judgment.

Nice To Haves

• One year of skilled nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact.
• Provide care and services to support patients’ physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
• Assess patient needs on an ongoing basis.
• Revise care plans based on changes in patients’ conditions.
• Provide clinical supervision to CNAs and LPNs.
• Implement and interpret departmental programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward patients.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.

Benefits

• Shift differentials: $3 per hour for second shift, $2 per hour for third shift, and $2 per hour for weekends.
