About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive healthcare services to incarcerated patients at Wabash Valley Correctional Facility in Carlisle, Indiana. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering holistic nursing care within their scope of practice, working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor. They will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to assess and address the physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
Requirements
- Indiana RN license or compact license.
- Current CPR.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, including a drug screen and criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- Corrections experience not required (new grads are welcome).
Responsibilities
- Providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
- Working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor.
- Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
