Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- RN licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin upon hire
- 2 years RN experience
- Experience caring for cardiac patients required
- BLS for healthcare providers
- ACLS certification required within 3 months of hire
Nice To Haves
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification
Responsibilities
- Work in the EP lab performing electrophysiology studies, radiofrequency ablations, and pacemaker and defibrillator insertions.
- Collaborate with Cardiotesting, Pre Op, Exercise Physiology, and the Cardiothoracic Surgery teams.
- Provide episodic acute care with a significant impact on patients' lives.
- Participate in call shifts, approximately 2-3 weeknight call shifts per week after a scheduled shift.
