About The Position

This role is in the Infusion Department and is responsible for administering Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, Immunoglobulin and Iron. It also involves symptom management and patient education, as well as the management of Central Line Catheters such as port-a-caths. The Registered Nurse will provide care according to the individualized needs of the patient using the nursing process and in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements

  • Associates degree required
  • National Nursing License and BLS certification required
  • 0 - 1 year experience
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to use problem solving, critical thinking, and priority setting skills
  • ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certificate Course required after one year
  • OCN certification required within two years

Nice To Haves

  • 2 - 4 years preferred
  • Excellent peripheral IV skills preferable

Responsibilities
