About The Position
The staff RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame. The RN provides care through therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, therapeutic environments, treatment and modalities, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Mother Baby.
- Current California Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
Nice To Haves
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate in formulating the overall plan of care for each patient and document this in writing.
- Identify needs and problems specific to patients’ biophysical, cognitive, developmental, emotional, socio-cultural, and spiritual well-being.
- Maintain ongoing awareness of the status of assigned patients and demonstrate accountability for that awareness.
- Collect and document data appropriate to the nature and severity of each patient’s condition.
