About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care through assessments, nursing interventions, documentation, and interdisciplinary coordination, while ensuring high standards of safety and quality. The role is at U of L Rehab Hospital Frazier Brownsboro, a 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital providing individualized rehabilitation for people recovering from severe injury or illness, including stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ACLS certification.
• PALS certification.

Nice To Haves

• CRRN certification preferred.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify individual care needs.
• Initiate and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
• Deliver care appropriate to each patient’s condition and age.
• Document medical necessity and nursing activities accurately and promptly.
• Complete and revise Interdisciplinary Care Plans for assigned patients.
• Perform timely and accurate Quality Improvement (QI) assessments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
