About The Position

This role is ideal for an RN who enjoys one-on-one patient care, values patient and family education, thinks critically and works confidently in the field, communicates well with providers and interdisciplinary teams, and wants flexibility and balance without sacrificing clinical excellence. Riverside Home Health & Hospice believes great nursing happens when nurses are given the time, trust, and support to care deeply for patients and families. They offer ride-along opportunities for those new to Home Health or Hospice.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
• Leadership mindset with flexibility and initiative

Nice To Haves

• Home Health or Hospice experience preferred (not required)
• This role is best suited for an RN excited about leadership, growth, and helping build a new service line.

Responsibilities

• Providing skilled, one-on-one nursing care in patients’ homes
• Educating and supporting patients and caregivers
• Managing medications, symptoms, and complex clinical needs
• Collaborating closely with physicians and care teams
• Supervising LPNs and CNAs as appropriate
