About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides and coordinates comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The role uses evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and skilled communication to help create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

The position is based on 7 West, a 17-bed adult specialty unit caring for patients receiving bone marrow transplants. The unit provides chemotherapy, transplant conditioning, and post-transplant cell recovery care; typical stays are approximately 25 days. All cellular therapy products are administered on the unit.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of RN oncology experience.
• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

• Bone marrow transplant (BMT) experience.
