About The Position

Kid's Thrive Southern Columbus is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN will provide high-quality nursing care while supporting the health, safety, and overall well-being of the children and adolescents we serve. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with youth, works well as part of a multidisciplinary team, and is committed to delivering safe, professional, and family-centered care.

Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain as required.
Strong assessment, communication, organization, and documentation skills.
Ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Compassionate, patient-centered, and professional approach.

Nice To Haves

Pediatric, behavioral health, school-based, or community health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care and health services to children and adolescents.
Assess and monitor patients' physical and behavioral health needs.
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
Monitor and document patient conditions, interventions, and responses to care.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, counselors, families, and other members of the care team.
Respond appropriately to medical needs and emergencies.
Educate patients, families, and staff regarding health and wellness needs as appropriate.
Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
Follow infection control, safety, medication management, and clinical policies.
Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings.
Promote a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for patients.
