About The Position
Join Baylor Scott and White Medical Center – Sunnyvale as a SEASONAL Registered Nurse | RN and be part of something better! This is a Seasonal ER RN position offering $62.00/hr. The Emergency Department | Emergency Room unit is a fast-paced environment that includes high acuity patients. The leadership team fosters an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and building every team member. The patient population includes Adult, Pediatric, and Geriatric patients with a patient ratio of 4:1 across 20 beds. The department has Chest Pain Accreditation, Primary Stroke Accreditation, sees an average of 100 patients per day, and handles around 15-20 EMS ambulances per day. Baylor Scott White Medical Center-Sunnyvale is a community-based hospital with specialties uncommon for its size, offering a large footprint of outpatient services. As a PRN member of the nursing staff, you are an important part of the team that provides quality care and great service.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent acute care hospital experience.
- Current RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting.
- ACLS and PALS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Be available to work a minimum of 18 shifts per 6-week schedule period – of which 6 of the shifts will be a weekend shift.
- Attend mandatory in-services, meetings, and classes.
- Floating will be done by Hospital Policy.
