About The Position
Join Baylor Scott and White Medical Center – Sunnyvale as a SEASONAL Registered Nurse | RN and be part of something better! This is a seasonal ER RN position with a pay rate of $62.00/hr. Our Emergency Department | Emergency Room unit is a fast-paced environment that includes high acuity patients. The leadership team fosters an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and building every team member. The patient population includes Adult, Pediatric, and Geriatric patients with patient ratios of 4:1 across 20 beds. The department holds Chest Pain Accreditation and Primary Stroke Accreditation, seeing an average of 100 patients per day with around 15-20 EMS ambulances daily.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent acute care hospital experience.
- Be available to work a minimum of 18 shifts per 6-week schedule period.
- 6 of the 18 shifts must be weekend shifts.
- Current full-time and part-time employees of Baylor Scott & White Sunnyvale are not eligible to participate.
- Participants are considered temporary employees without benefits.
- Staffing is based on the current census and staff may be cancelled or flexed when census goes down.
- Temporary PRN staff will be cancelled before full-time and part-time regular staff.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality care and great service as a PRN member of the nursing staff.
- Attend mandatory in-services, meetings, and classes.
- Float as per Hospital Policy.
