About The Position
The Registered Nurse on 3 West Medical Surgical Telemetry is responsible and accountable for providing direct, comprehensive nursing care to patients from admission through discharge. The role includes reviewing and documenting care, outcomes, and evaluations; following professional standards of care; applying evidence, professional standards, and best practices to bedside caregiving through critical thinking and evidence-based practices; and prioritizing care according to patients’ changing assessments and needs. This is a part-time position on a 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. schedule, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates.
Requirements
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current unrestricted Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Kentucky.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Obtain Crisis Prevention certification within 6 months of hire.

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
