About The Position
This is a full-time Registered Nurse position serving individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD). The role involves providing person-centered nursing care, coordinating medical care, overseeing medication administration, advocating for patients, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, maintaining health records, and educating staff on health and safety practices.
Requirements
- New York State Licensed Registered Nurse (RN)
- Commitment to person-first, compassionate care
- Valid NYS driver’s license

- I/DD, residential, or community-based nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide person-centered nursing care with small, manageable caseloads
- Coordinate medical care, appointments, and follow-up for individuals with I/DD
- Oversee medication administration and ensure regulatory compliance
- Advocate for people supported within healthcare and clinical settings
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate health records and nursing documentation
- Support and educate staff on health, safety, and medical best practices
