About The Position

This PRN role serves as a working leader who oversees and implements resident care plans and provides direct nursing services.

Starting pay is $32 per hour, depending on experience. The hiring manager determines pay during an interview. Weekend Warrior shifts receive an additional $4.00 per hour shift premium.

Requirements

• Nursing license required.

Responsibilities

• Implement and oversee resident care plans.
• Provide direct nursing services, including administering treatments and assisting with assessments and evaluations.
• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Delegate appropriate components of care plans to nursing assistants and provide guidance and supervision when necessary.
• Consult with others and validate data.
• Record pertinent information in patient records.
• Identify and evaluate residents’ responses to health problems and treatments.
• Communicate residents’ care needs to others involved in their care.
• Assume responsibility for professional growth and development.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the director of nursing.
