About The Position

A Registered Nurse (RN) renders personal and professional care to patients. The RN uses a systematic approach to assess patient needs, plan care, provide quality and direct care, coordinate care, and evaluate care in an efficient and safe environment. The RN facilitates collaboration among a variety of disciplines to provide a unified and seamless approach to care delivery. The position is responsible for adhering to nursing practice standards and promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel from other departments. Patient advocacy, patient safety, and improving health status are priorities in developing the plan of care. The RN follows orders for patient care and treatment and adheres to Henry County Hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Hold an Ohio RN License.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior nursing experience.
• CNOR certification.
