Registered Nurse - Miller 3 - Cardiothoracic Telemetry Unit
About The Position
The Registered Nurse will work in the 32-bed Miller 3 surgical telemetry unit at UVMMC’s Medical Center Main Campus in Burlington, Vermont. The unit provides high-quality, patient- and family-centered care in single-patient rooms to a diverse range of surgical and medical patients requiring a progressive level of care. The primary patient population includes patients recovering from cardiothoracic surgery, such as CABG, valve replacement, and pulmonary surgery; vascular surgery, such as lower-limb bypass, carotid endarterectomy, and amputation; and urologic procedures, such as prostatectomy, bladder tumor resection, and continuous bladder irrigation. This is a part-time, bargaining-union position with 24 standard hours per week and 48 biweekly scheduled hours. The primary shift is 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, with day/night shifts indicated and every-other-weekend coverage required. On-call work is not required.
