Registered Nurse - Miller 3 - Cardiothoracic Telemetry Unit
About The Position
The Registered Nurse will work in Miller 3, a 32-bed surgical telemetry unit at the UVMMC Medical Center Main Campus in Burlington, Vermont. The unit focuses on high-quality, patient- and family-centered care. Its primary patient population includes people requiring cardiothoracic surgery, such as CABG, valve replacement, and pulmonary surgery; vascular surgery, such as lower-limb bypass, carotid endarterectomy, and amputation; and urology procedures, such as prostatectomy, bladder tumor resection, and continuous bladder irrigation. The unit also provides care in single-patient rooms for a diverse range of surgical and medical services requiring a progressive level of care. This is a part-time, bargaining union position. On-call duty is not required.
