About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join the Heart Rhythm Center’s Cardiac Catheterization Lab team at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. The role provides care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a fast-paced environment, using critical-thinking and teamwork skills. The position is described as full-time and working nights, from 5:45 p.m. to 6:15 a.m. Call is required for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- Licensed Registered Nurse.
- Associate of Science in Nursing required.
- Two years of critical care experience.
- Call is required for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
- Administer medications and manage IV lines as needed.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and follow ACLS protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory standards.
