About The Position
Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Critical Care (ER) team at St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese, Illinois. This PRN, as-needed position is in the Emergency Department. The successful candidate will be a patient-focused, mission-driven caregiver who applies clinical knowledge to coordinate and provide hands-on acute patient care at the bedside. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice.
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.
- Wisconsin RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in Nurse Licensure Compact rules.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications are required based on the patient population in the specialty area worked.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Critical Care Nursing experience.
- Specialty certifications based on patient population, such as Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) or Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN).
