About The Position

Summit City Nursing is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide skilled nursing care in a senior-care setting. The role involves developing meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning about their life stories and using nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The nurse works with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive resident care and contributes to a supportive, respectful, and positive care environment. This is a full-time day-shift opportunity. Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Ability to work collaboratively and as part of a team.
• Ability to demonstrate the C.A.R.E. values of Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Promote the physical and psychosocial well-being of residents through nursing care.
• Manage medications proficiently.
• Conduct thorough resident assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive resident care.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
