Registered Nurse - Virginia Beach Surgery Center (OR)(Part-time)
About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides clinically competent patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. The RN interacts effectively with patients, significant others, and other healthcare team members while maintaining professional nursing standards. The RN evaluates outcomes in relation to evidence-based interventions to determine the effectiveness of nursing care. The RN’s primary focus is ensuring each patient receives quality care and services through efficient use of resources. The RN practices within the scope and standards defined by the American Nurses Association and the Virginia Nurse Practice Act. As a healthcare team member, the RN makes decisions and performs services in the patient’s best interest, contributes positively to the patient experience and team success, and places the patient and team above individual needs.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.
- Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in Virginia or a compact state.
- Must have current BLS.

- BSN preferred.
