About The Position

Clark Fork Valley Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Acute Care team on a PRN (as-needed) basis. This position provides an opportunity to work in a variety of acute care areas, including Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, and SWB, with the expectation to be competent in all areas after orientation.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse license in good standing with the Montana State Board of Nursing.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) within 90 days of hire.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) within 90 days of hire.
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) preferred.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification upon completion of labor and delivery competency.
• STABLE certification preferred for Labor and Delivery.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, within scope of practice, and notify providers when needed.
• Accurately and promptly document patient care in the electronic health record.
• Initiate and participate in the development of individualized care plans and patient education.
• Tailor and manage care plans according to individual patient needs.
• Maintain required competencies within your scope of practice.
• Follow all standards relevant to your area of work.
