About The Position
Clark Fork Valley Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Acute Care team and provide exceptional care to patients in Sanders County. This role includes working in multiple areas: Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, and SWB, with the expectation to be competent in all areas after orientation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a difference in a variety of acute care settings while enjoying the natural beauty and community of Sanders County.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current Registered Nurse license in good standing with the Montana State Board of Nursing.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) within 90 days of hire.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) within 90 days of hire.
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification upon completion of labor and delivery competency.
Nice To Haves
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) preferred.
- STABLE certification preferred for Labor and Delivery.
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments within scope of practice, notifying providers when necessary.
- Accurately and promptly document patient care in the electronic health record.
- Participate in and initiate individualized patient education and care plans.
- Adjust and manage care plans according to individual patient needs.
- Demonstrate required competencies within the scope of practice.
- Follow all relevant standards for your area of work.
