About The Position

Coordinates patient care activity on the phone and in the office and clinic, providing necessary support to the physician within established guidelines. Patient care activities within scope of nursing practice will include but are not limited to patient assessment, medication management, collaboration with healthcare providers, patient education, procedural management, and other duties as assigned. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provides compassionate and high-quality nursing care by planning, organizing, and directing the nursing functions of patients on the unit. Initiates and implements patient care plan. Makes nursing assignments appropriate to the skill level of employees. Maintains evidence-based standards of patient care. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, associate's degree, or diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution
  • Current Maryland licensure or eligibility to obtain Maryland licensure
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • CPR certification is required

Nice To Haves

  • Two to three years clinical experience preferred
