About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers patient-centered nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care in collaboration with the healthcare team. The role supports patient safety, quality, and continuity of care across diverse clinical settings, with the goal of achieving optimal patient outcomes and complying with regulatory standards. The RN performs other duties as assigned and carries out all responsibilities in alignment with Kettering Health’s mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• No prior experience required; clinical experience during a nursing program is accepted.
• Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain it within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• One year of clinical nursing experience in an acute care or relevant specialty setting.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or specialty certification applicable to the clinical area.
