RN - Inpatient, Orthopedics
About The Position
UW Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the inpatient Orthopedics team at University Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. The nurse works with an interdisciplinary team to systematically and continuously collect and assess data and provide therapeutic care in collaboration with patients and/or their families. The team uses evidence-based care and technology. This is a 90% FTE position with rotating day and night shifts: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM and 7:00 PM–7:00 AM. The schedule includes a one-in-three weekend rotation and holiday rotation. Scheduled hours are based on departmental operational needs. Requirements
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Wisconsin or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Six months of nursing experience, or current participation in UW Health’s Nurse Residency Program with successful completion of the Nurse Residency Orientation on the unit or a similar unit.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
- Relevant RN experience preferred.
