About The Position

IU Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to support an OB/GYN clinic at the IU Health West Medical Office Building in Avon, Indiana. This is an onsite PRN/Supplemental position and is not eligible for benefits. The primary duties include clinical phone triage for OB/GYN patients and assisting with blood draws and vital signs as needed. The role requires at least one year of RN experience. Core office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; there are no weekends, holidays, or call shifts.

Requirements

• At least one year of RN experience.
• Associate of Nursing (ASN).
• Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Knowledge of procedures appropriate to the clinical area and familiarity with designated equipment and supplies.
• Ability to coordinate multiple functions for a group of patients effectively and in a timely manner.
• Awareness and understanding of the legal implications of patient-care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
• Ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.

Nice To Haves

• Labor & Delivery experience.
• Bachelor of Nursing (BSN).
• Two years of experience in an ambulatory setting.

Responsibilities
