About The Position

We are on the lookout for motivated, dependable, and dedicated caregivers to provide exceptional direct care and support to our patients. The Registered Nurse assesses, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. The Registered nurse is responsible for: Actively engage in the health care team, offering both direct and indirect care to patients, families, and legal guardians. Assess the physical and psychological conditions of patients continuously throughout their care journey. Utilize the nursing process in alignment with the philosophy, objectives, values, mission, and core principles of SOBH. Uphold a safe therapeutic environment grounded in our core values. Collaborate as an integral member of the multidisciplinary treatment team, actively contributing to the development, implementation, and documentation of tailored goals and interventions based on patient strengths and psychiatric challenges.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Currently licensed to practice by the Illinois State Board of Nursing.
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
  • Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications.
