About The Position
NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital is hiring a part-time Registered Nurse for its Float Pool on the night shift at its Cortlandt Manor, Upper Westchester County, New York location. The nurse will practice evidence-based nursing and contribute to improving the patient care experience as part of an action-oriented team. The position works from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. The hospital describes its nursing environment as offering flexible scheduling, shared clinical decision-making, inspirational leadership, and supportive colleagues. The role requires on-site presence, and employees should live within commuting distance of NYP. NYP does not reimburse travel expenses.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Current New York State RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of acute care RN experience in Medical/Surgical.
- Specialty certification.
