About The Position

Join Baylor Scott & White - Lake Pointe Rowlett as a Registered Nurse and be part of something better! This role is for a Full-Time Night shift position. The patient population includes Stroke, Chest Pain, Med-Surg, and Telemetry. The patient ratios are 1:4-5, with 26 rooms on 2 South and 4-10 beds on 2 North. Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Lake Pointe in Rowlett, TX is a community-based hospital offering specialized services uncommon for its size, including extensive outpatient services. The hospital is licensed for 176 beds and features multiple units and services, holding designations such as Level III Trauma, Chest Pain Accreditation, Primary Stroke Accreditation, and Maternal and Level III NICU. Nursing is on a journey towards Pathways to Excellence and will seek Magnet designation.

Requirements

• Graduation from an Accredited Program.
• RN License.
• 2 Years of recent Telemetry RN experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or obtain with (30) thirty days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for Stroke, Chest Pain, Med-Surg, and Telemetry patients.
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4-5.
• Work full-time night shifts.
