Horizons Residential Care Center (HRCC) is a nonprofit Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) providing 24-hour support to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Requirements

• Active RN license in the State of North Carolina
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Comfort with electronic medical records
• Valid NC driver’s license

Nice To Haves

• Experience in residential care, long-term care, pediatrics, or ICF settings
• CPR/BLS (Adult & Pediatric)
• New to residential nursing or returning to the field? We welcome transition nurses.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine and direct nursing care in a residential / ICF setting
• Administer and document medications per physician orders
• Maintain accurate documentation in Therap and EMR systems
• Monitor resident health and communicate changes to physicians and leadership
• Complete controlled medication counts and report discrepancies
• Support and guide DSPs and Medication Technicians as needed
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and collaboration
• Respond calmly and effectively to emergencies
• Assist with medication inventory and supply coordination
