CO - RN Acute Care - Med-Surg Adult -Nights
About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Acute Care/Med-Surg Adult unit provides high-quality nursing care to patients. Using specialized knowledge and expertise related to critical disease states, the nurse plans, coordinates, implements, and evaluates patient care through the nursing process. This position works 12-hour night shifts, including weekend rotation, and requires participation in an on-call rotation: one on-call shift every two weeks as needed, in place of guaranteed hours for that week. Holiday coverage is required. Newly remodeled, fully furnished studio apartments are available to travelers a short distance from the facility. Apartments include Wi-Fi, utilities, and on-site laundry. Pets are not permitted, and no deposit is required.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience in Acute Care, Med-Surg, Telemetry, or a similar nursing role.
- Current RN license to practice in Colorado.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Current flu vaccination; exemptions are not permitted.
- Participate in an on-call rotation, taking one on-call shift every two weeks as needed, in place of guaranteed hours for that week.
- Provide holiday coverage.
