About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides nursing care to patients in all settings by using the nursing process and collaborating with other health care providers. The RN is accountable for their professional development and for practicing within the scope of care defined by law. Using organizational resources, the RN advocates for patients and supports safe care through delegation and participation in performance and practice improvement activities. Requirements

• Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse.
• For new graduate nurses, graduate from an accredited school of nursing (NLN, ACEN, or CCNE).
• BLS certification.
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification as determined by the unit’s scope of practice.
• A nurse returning to an acute care setting after five or more years may be required to provide evidence of successful completion of a refresher course.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; must be completed within five years of hire.
