As a Registered Nurse, you will administer, monitor, and document chemotherapy and other infusion treatments for our patients according to treatment plans ordered by our oncology and hematology providers.

Requirements

  • Professional nursing degree (BSN preferred).
  • Tennessee State Nursing licensure.
  • Current BLS certification upon hire.
  • At least one year of prior nursing experience.
  • Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education.
  • Current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.
  • Must maintain continuing education requirements.
  • Manual dexterity, proper hand-eye coordination, and a full range of motion to assist with lifting patients.
  • Corrected vision and hearing to normal range.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, monitor, and document chemotherapy and other infusion treatments for patients according to treatment plans ordered by oncology and hematology providers.
  • Provide education on treatment and emotional support to patients.
  • Perform venipuncture and access ports to administer treatment.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, meeting their needs and making them comfortable.
  • Serve as a resource for patients and other clinical team members regarding infection treatments.
  • Navigate Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
  • Communicate respectfully and promptly with team members.
  • Assist with additional tasks as needed.
