Requirements
- Graduation from accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
- Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina Board of Nursing
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 1 year of hire, per unit guidelines
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 1 year of hire, per unit guidelines

Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver compassionate care, placing patients and their families at the center of every decision.
- Conduct thorough assessments, develop nursing diagnoses, identify outcomes, plan interventions, and coordinate care to promote optimal health and wellbeing in accordance with the policies of AHWFB.
- Participates in multidisciplinary discharge planning referrals to hospital and community resources as needed.
- Create a secure and healing environment by safeguarding patient privacy and ensuring responsive, respectful, accepting, and professional behavior.
- Embrace technology and equipment to enhance patient and staff safety.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills to foster collaboration among the healthcare team, facilitating information sharing throughout the continuum of care.
