About The Position
Integrity Home Care + Hospice is recruiting a compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse to provide hospice nursing care to patients in their homes in Barton, Jasper, McDonald, Newton, and Dade counties. This is a per diem (PRN) position. The role provides one-to-one direct care in client homes, with hands-on and virtual training and 24/7 clinical support from an interdisciplinary care team. Occasional after-hours and/or weekend on-call coverage is required.
Requirements
- Active and current RN license.
- Ability to travel locally to cases as assigned.
Nice To Haves
- One year of clinical experience preferred.
- Previous hospice experience is welcomed but not required; training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Visit clients in their homes and provide assigned nursing care, including medication administration, wound care, treatments, procedures, and comfort care.
- Monitor client conditions and report changes to the Clinical or Client Services Manager.
- Follow up on doctors’ orders, execute them, and document them properly.
- Perform client assessments as necessary.
- Provide occasional on-call coverage after hours and/or on weekends.
- Travel locally to assigned cases.
