About The Position

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you provide patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Working under the supervision of Charge Nurse(s), you provide patient education and activities in accordance with your competencies and education. The role calls for excellent communication and critical thinking skills to support optimal patient outcomes. Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Maintain current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of employment.
Be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

A minimum of one year of clinic experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in assessing and planning individual treatment programs in consultation with Charge Nurse(s) and other staff as necessary.
Implement medical plans by administering medications, obtaining diagnostic tests, and assisting with medical or minor surgical procedures as needed.
Count controlled substances and provide clinical and technical aspects of care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
Document nursing encounters using SOAP charting as required by policy.
Attend mandatory staff meetings and training.
Communicate information to nursing staff, physicians, health care unit supervisory personnel, and other staff as necessary.
