About The Position

AMG Specialty Hospital - Oklahoma City is seeking PRN Registered Nurses (RN) for Day Shifts with ICU/Step-down/critical care experience. The hospital specializes in the management of complex medical needs, aiming to return patients to their optimal level of well-being in the least restrictive medical environment. Common conditions treated include Respiratory Failure requiring ventilation, vapotherm, high flow, bipap, cpap, and nasal cannula, potentially requiring sedation/pain management, pressor management, and cardiac/anti-arrhythmic management. They also treat complicated infections requiring long-term IV antibiotics and chronic non-healing wounds requiring extensive treatment with wound vacs and frequent dressing changes. RNs will be responsible for direct and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting, communicating with physicians and co-workers about patient conditions, and responding quickly to changes in condition or response to treatment. General nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision are also expected. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure.
Current BLS certification.
Current ACLS certification.
Able to communicate effectively and positively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Nice To Haves

ICU/Step-down/critical care experience is preferred.
Acute care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Direct and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting.
Communicate with physicians, CCO/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
