About The Position

The New Graduate Registered Nurse will work in the Neurological Progressive Care Unit (9B) at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center, a high-acuity unit that supports and decompresses the Neurosciences Intensive Care Unit. The team cares for complex neurological and neurosurgical patients, including post-operative craniotomy, pituitary tumor resection, deep brain stimulator, and spinal surgery patients; patients with CSF leaks, subdural hematomas, seizures, subarachnoid hemorrhage, stroke, neuromuscular disease, and CNS infections; and patients with VP shunts, external ventricular drains, subdural drains, or lumbar drains.
