About The Position

FirstChoice is Trinity Health’s mobile staffing solution, placing Registered Nurses in short- and long-term assignments throughout the health system. This per diem ICU RN position supports staffing needs at St. Alphonsus Health System in Boise, Idaho, with opportunities to work in different practice settings and locations. The role requires flexibility to float throughout the hospital and potentially across multiple hospital locations or regions. The position is PRN, ongoing, and scheduled for night shifts.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Hold valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice or employment.
Have at least two years of recent clinical experience for Critical Care and other listed specialties outside Med Surg, Tele, and PCU.
Maintain credentials required for the specialty area, such as ACLS or TNCC.
Obtain BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Float throughout the hospital and/or across multiple hospital locations or regions as needed.
Apply the standard elements of professional nursing practice: assessment, outcomes identification and solutions, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Practice independently and appropriately within licensure, scope of knowledge, and experience.
Maintain accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes.
Collaborate with key stakeholders and contribute to quality improvement practices and outcomes.
Demonstrate agility and willingness to take on new and additional responsibilities.
Embrace new ideas and cultural differences while managing competing priorities.
