About The Position

The RN provides direct nursing care to adult and pediatric patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures, including EGD, colonoscopy, and ERCP. The role includes pre-procedure assessment, intra-procedure sedation monitoring, post-anesthesia recovery in PACU/Phase I and II, and patient discharge education. The RN supports safe and efficient delivery of endoscopy and GI services.

This is a temporary contract position with a day schedule, Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. On-call coverage is required 5–8 days per month, including weeknights and weekends, as assigned.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) state license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

• Endoscopy, GI Lab, or procedural nursing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult and pediatric patients undergoing GI procedures.
