About The Position

AffiniCare, Care Initiatives’ internal staffing agency, is hiring Registered Nurses to provide coverage at multiple Care Initiatives skilled nursing communities within a region. The role offers a customizable, flexible schedule, allowing nurses to select preferred hours and facilities, with a minimum requirement of 16 hours per month. Full-time and part-time schedules are available. Nurses provide direct resident care and support daily clinical operations while working in various skilled nursing settings.

Requirements

• Active Iowa RN license.
• Active CPR certification.
• Twelve months of verifiable experience working as an RN.
• Ability to travel between multiple Care Initiatives communities within the assigned region.
• Must live within a reasonable driving distance of Care Initiatives communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
• Support daily clinical operations on the unit, ensuring quality care and resident safety.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
• Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, providers, and other interdisciplinary team members to promote teamwork and high-quality care.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs.
• Document care accurately to meet clinical, regulatory, and facility standards.
• Follow infection control, safety, and compliance protocols.
