About The Position

Inova Fairfax Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its fast-paced Gastroenterology Lab/Endoscopy team. The role supports inpatient and outpatient care for adults and pediatric patients undergoing advanced endoscopic and pulmonary procedures. This is a full-time position with four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. There are no night or weekend shifts and no call requirement.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of PACU or critical care (ICU/ED) nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse, or eligible for licensure, in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing. Nurses with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) must complete a BSN within 5 years of their start date.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of experience in PACU, ICU, or ED.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Gastroenterology Lab/Endoscopy setting for inpatients and outpatients undergoing advanced endoscopic and pulmonary procedures.
