About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Weekend Warrior assignment in a Long-Term Care setting. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, resident-centered care while managing clinical responsibilities, care coordination, and regulatory compliance in a skilled nursing environment.
Requirements
- Active RN License (Pennsylvania or Compact State)
- Current Long-Term Care (LTC) experience required
- Experience with geriatric patient populations
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work Weekend Warrior schedule
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to long-term care residents
- Assess, monitor, and document resident conditions
- Administer medications, treatments, and physician-ordered therapies
- Coordinate care plans with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Develop and update individualized resident care plans
- Respond to changes in resident condition and emergencies
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
- Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs and CNAs as appropriate
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation
- Educate residents and families regarding care plans and treatment
