About The Position

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital, operated jointly with Lifepoint Health, is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Float Pool. The role is a full-time day position with a 7:00 AM–7:00 PM schedule. The nurse works in a collaborative environment caring for diverse patient populations and delivering safe, compassionate, patient-centered care. Requirements

• Current state or compact-state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Previous Medical-Surgical or rehabilitation experience.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care appropriate to the patient's condition and age.
• Complete timely and appropriate medical-record documentation relating to medical necessity.
• Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Perform timely and accurate quality-improvement assessments.
