About The Position
CorrectHealth is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing team in Gretna, LA. This position is onsite Monday - Friday. CorrectHealth is a multi-disciplinary medical organization that provides high quality, cost-effective, comprehensive healthcare inside correctional facilities. The company currently provides services in over 35 correctional facilities throughout Georgia, Louisiana, the Southeast, and beyond.
Requirements
- Graduate from a national or state approved school of nursing program.
- Holds and maintains a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of employment.
- American Heart Association BLS certified.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Directs and guides patient teaching, clinical care, and ancillary personnel while maintaining standards and ethics of professional nursing in accordance with applicable State Board of Nursing and other accrediting agencies.
- Provides strong analytical, decision-making skills and has positive communication skills.
