Registered Nurse/ICU
About The Position
Travel ICU Registered Nurse position (Req 11109) at a short-term acute care facility and Level II Trauma Center with 379 staffed beds. The nurse may float between units. The expected patient ratio is 1:2. Six weekend shifts are required to meet unit needs; block schedules are not required. Forty-eight-hour schedules are approved. On-call requirements are unknown. Licensed nursing personnel must wear solid navy blue uniforms or scrub attire; scrub tops may have colored piping. Print tops are not acceptable, except for specified pediatric and Women's Services units, which follow their unit-specific attire requirements. Free parking is available in unrestricted spaces in surface lots marked “Employee/Visitor Parking VivPost.”
Requirements
- Travel experience is required.
- ICU experience is required.
- Experience with cardiovascular surgery, trauma, ventilators, chest tubes, central venous lines (CVLs), external ventricular drains (EVDs), neurosurgery, and laboratory interpretation is required.
- Must fulfill six weekend shifts to meet unit needs.
- Must be able to float between units.
