About The Position
Emplify Health by Gundersen Electrophysiology Lab in La Crosse, Wisconsin is growing and seeking a passionate RN to join their team. The position is located in the EP lab, which performs electrophysiology studies, radiofrequency ablations, and pacemaker and defibrillator insertions.
Requirements
- Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing
- RN licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin upon hire
- 2 years RN experience
- Experience caring for cardiac patients required
- BLS for healthcare providers
- ACLS certification required within 3 months of hire
Nice To Haves
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide episodic acute care that has great impact on patients lives
- Collaborate with Cardiotesting, Pre Op, Exercise Physiology, and the Cardiothoracic Surgery teams
- Work in the EP lab performing electrophysiology studies, radiofrequency ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator insertions
- Perform 2-3 weeknight call shifts approximately every two weeks (after a scheduled shift)
