About The Position

The Cath Lab Registered Nurse provides high-quality, compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. Working collaboratively with physicians, technologists, and other healthcare team members, the RN supports safe, efficient, and effective care in the Cardiovascular Laboratory. The position calls for advanced clinical skills, sound judgment, and a commitment to excellent patient outcomes. This is a per-diem position in Passaic, New Jersey, with 8-hour day shifts and an assignment length of 13–26 weeks. The stated pay estimate is $84.00–$92.00 per hour, or approximately $672–$736 in daily gross pay. The exact starting compensation will be determined during applicant selection based on factors including skills, relevant experience, education, credentials, and licensure. Requirements

Active state Registered Nursing (RN) license.
Current BCLS and ACLS certification upon hire.
At least one year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab performing cardiac work.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care before, during, and after cardiac and vascular procedures.
Address patients’ physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs in the procedural environment.
Monitor and document hemodynamic and physiologic data, responding promptly to changes in patient condition.
Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, pacemaker insertions, and angioplasties.
Prepare, assess, and maintain procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies for each case.
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory and hospital standards.
Participate in performance improvement and quality assurance activities to improve patient safety and departmental operations.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
