About The Position

The Registered Nurse works in the Cardiac Cath Lab - Pre/Post at Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola in Pensacola, Florida. This full-time, day-shift role assesses, prepares, and positions patients for procedures; performs conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary; and prepares, implements, and documents plans of care. The nurse communicates the patient’s condition to the physician before, during, and after procedures; performs and/or facilitates diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures; and sets up and provides equipment and supplies before, during, and after procedures.

Requirements

• Obtain BLS Provider certification within 1 month (30 days) of hire or job transfer; American Heart Association or American Red Cross certification is accepted.
• Hold a Registered Nurse credential from the Florida Department of Health before hire or job transfer.
• Have a diploma from an accredited school or college of nursing, or the required professional licensure at the time of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Prior ICU or Cath Lab RN experience.
